Why do I have to start my shopping through iGive.com? Only iGive.com members can earn money for their causes for their purchases, and only after we make an agreement with the merchant to donate a percentage of your purchase to your favorite cause. As long as your shopping starts at the Mall at iGive.com, through an iGive Newsletter, or through the iGive Shopping Window, your cause benefits from our agreement with the merchant!
Why do I have to wait 30 days for my purchase to be processed? Generally, your purchases are automatically credited to you within seven to fifteen days of making a purchase. However, there are times when this process may take up to one month (and sometimes longer). This happens because iGive.com has to wait for the online merchant to verify that your purchase was completed. Some merchants do this as soon as they ship the product to you. Others, however, wait to confirm your purchase until after the return period for the item you bought has passed.
When iGive.com receives notice of your purchase, we immediately credit your account and ensure that your online Shopping Report reflects all documented purchases.
