Cause Description:
Bay State Dogs, Inc. rescues and re-homes unwanted and abandoned dogs in Massachusetts. We provide an alternative solution to Craigslist and other classifieds for dog owners in Massachusetts needing to surrender their dogs to ensure that they find a safe and caring forever home. We also assist shelters and animal control officers by re-homing dogs in their care when needed. We have established a fund for dog owners who need temporary assistance in order to keep their dog(s), providing them with dog food and veterinary care. All dogs will receive appropriate veterinary care, including spay/neuter, and a behavior evaluation before being re-homed. Dogs will also be microchipped. We are a shelter-less rescue and all dogs are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted. Bay State Dogs, Inc. is operated solely by volunteers and funded by contributions from the public. We are 501c3 Corporation, your donations are tax deductible.
