Engineers Without Borders – University of Toledo

Cause Description:
This is the Chapter of Engineers Without Borders at the University of Toledo. In keeping with EWB-USA's mission of completing sustainable and needed projects in developing or third world countries, our chapter has concerned itself with performing water distribution and sanitation projects in southern Honduras. In April 2009 we completed our first project, a water line to the impoverished village of Los Sanchez in the Department of Choluteca. We currently have plans to return to Los Sanchez to complete smaller projects that compliment their water, as well as begin another water line project in a nearby village called La Barranca.
