The Asociación de Egresados de la UASD, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization with the mission of providing graduates of the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo – UASD – in the United States to gather and exchange ideas and to network and interact to provide opportuni-ties for professional development. It is also dedicated to contribute to the projection of a positive image of the oldest university in the new world. The Asociacion de Egresados de la UASD, Inc.’s mission is also to assist in developing professional profiles according to specific market demand and employment opportunities. The association is also interested in professional devel-opment and enhancement through conferences, training and interaction with other US graduates.The Asociación de Egresados de la UASD, Inc.’s philosophy is that every professional who comes to this country has the right to maintain their professional standards in this country and that they should be able to enter the US labor market in a way that will help them use their professional education. In keeping with these goals, this association strives to provide the neces-sary support to those professional to assist them in continuing their professional development in this country as well as to enter the job market at the level commensurate with their education.
