Family House located in San Francisco, CA., provides free temporary housing for families of children with cancer who are being treated at UCSF Children's Hospital. Family House is a place of comfort, community and courage. Since 1981, Family House has been serving children with cancer and other life threatening illness and thier families, by providing physical comforts and emotional support, free from financial concerns. Family House has 34 rooms available to families whose children need to receive treatment at UCSF Children's Hospital and who live over 50 miles from San Francisco. More than 2,100 families per year find support from Family House and a place they can feel at home.
