Cause Description:
We are a 24/7 crisis intervention, information and referral hotline. While primarily local as a 2-1-1 call center we receive some regional and national calls. In addition to the hotline we support 2 other programs. Youth Central is designed by teens for teens to help stop risky behaviors through community service and mentoring. The primary vehicle for this is our Teen Hotline. Our 2nd program is Community Voice Mail. This program provides free voice mail boxes to people whose phonelessness is a barrier to obtaining employment, housing, accessing health and human services and escaping domestic violence.
