Cause Description:
University Campus Choir is a community choir in the West Los Angeles area. Although not formally affiliated with UCLA, we do practice there every week in the choral room of Schoenberg Hall. Our founder, Don Weiss, was the former choral director of the UCLA Music Department. Our financial support is from membership dues, ticket sales, donations, and our annual spring silent auction. We are about 25-30 men and women singers who are faculty, staff, alumni and friends of UCLA. We presently offer one winter performance and one spring performance. In addition we have a themed musicale at our spring fundraising event. In the fall of 2005 we will begin our 25th season and are looking forward to a very special, outstanding 25th anniversary year.
