Cause Description:
We are an 8 year old non-profit music organization providing excellent instruction at modest cost for all ages including adults. We encourage and support musical participation in the schools, augmenting their music programs. In the wider community we serve through educaton and support for community orchestras, programs for schools and nursing homes,provide student playing opportunities for community art showings, etc. Our paid instructors all have at least a B.A. most have higher music degrees. Office staff is currently volunteers. We wish to build our scholarship fund to help support many students who cannot afford ongoing private music instruction. We recently moved to our own rented studios. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or gender.
