Every day children in our community are victimized. Abused. Neglected. And every day, through no fault of their own, they are removed from their homes and placed into our juvenile court system afraid and confused. But not alone. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Humboldt provides hundreds of trained volunteers who advocate for these children. These volunteers, or CASAs, give the children the healing gift of their time, helping a child secure a safe permanent home where they can thrive. They stand by them in court and in life, listening to their fears as well as their dreams.
