The Orono Land Trust exists to protect and preserve a portion of this natural environment for the benefit of all. In doing so, we do not seek to halt development. We do want to balance development with conservation of open spaces. We feel that if such a balance is not achieved, much will be irretrievably lost to us and to future generations of townspeople.
