iGive by the numbers
iGive has been helping people raise money for charity as they shop since 1997. When a member shops at a participating store through iGive, the cause they choose gets the donation, and it costs the member and the cause nothing extra.
In October, 2026 iGive introduced into beta testing the iGive Button with the AI Sidebar. It allows people to raise money for their favorite charity or cause simply by watching ads (no purchase necessary) while waiting for the AI assistant to respond.
Today that is over 1,400 stores, over 100,000 causes listed and over 1 million members. These figures were measured on October 17, 2026 and are refreshed every night. The table gives the exact value and says what each one counts.

How the money works
Members shop at participating stores through iGive. The cause the member chooses gets the donation, and it costs the member and the cause nothing extra.
When causes are paid
iGive sends donations by check, approximately two to three months after store confirmation / travel completion. This allows for return periods and payment to iGive.
Taxes
Donations from purchases are probably tax deductible (think rebates). But we're not tax advisors, so consult yours for the last word.
