Trans World Radio (TWR) is an international missionary broadcasting organization that transmits more than 1,200 hours of Gospel programs each week in over 140 languages from 12 primary transmitting sites and satellite. Trans World Radio began in 1954 when Dr. Paul E. Freed launched a radio evangelistic ministry in Tangier, Morocco. A worldwide staff of more than 1,000 serve at TWR's transmitting sites, studios and offices in over 30 nations. TWR receives more than 1.4 million letters per year from listeners around the world.
