The Auxiliary Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a non-profit organization comprised of a group of sixty young professionals dedicated to raising funds for patients care programs and promoting educational outreach to the community. Since affiliating with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 1987, The Auxiliary Board has committed $925,000 to prominent hospital programs, including Women's Health, The Ambulatory Spine Program and The Comprehensive Heart Failure Prevention and Treatment Program. In January 1999, The Auxiliary Board elected to support another developing program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, The Bone Marrow Transplant Program - with a pledge of $250,000 over five years. The Auxiliary Board is committed to improving lives and reducing health care costs.
