Covenant House Michigan (CHM) was established in 1997. Following in the footsteps of our successful affiliates, CHM's mission is to "serve the suffering children of the street, and to protect and safeguard all children." CHM is committed to reaching out to young people in high-risk situations to provide them with educational and vocational programs as well as other support services to help them overcome hurdles such as unemployment, inadequate education, homelessness, violence, drugs and gangs. We attempt to redirect these adolescents onto a path toward meaningful and successful adulthood.
