The Milwaukee Center For Independence (MCFI) is a [501(c)(3)] nonprofit organization assisting individuals and families, from birth to the senior years with developmental and/or physical disabilities, mental illness, aging-related issues and/or are disadvantaged, to reach their highest level of independence. Founded in 1938 as Jewish Vocational Services, MCFI has been opening doors of opportunity for thousands of Milwaukee citizens each year. Nationally accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), our programs and services meet consumer, national and state-of-the-art standards of performance.
