Cause Description:
The Center is non-profit and provides low cost rental space for other non-profit groups. We are non-denominational. Our mission is to promote human development through education, the arts and social justice in response to human needs. We also provide clothing and everyday essentials to those in need. Our building is very old and we constantly need to do fundraising for repairs. Currently we have 18 groups in our facility. Without us, they'd be struggling to find affordable space to carry on their mission. Most of all the work is done by unpaid volunteers. Currantly there is only one paid administrator. 100% of fundraising profits go directly into maintaining our building.
