Relationship violence can begin as early as age 12. One in 4 young women is abused physically, emotionally or sexually by a dating partner in high school. Relationship violence causes 34% of injuries to teenage girls seen in emergency rooms. Education is the best prevention, and film is the most effective medium for engaging young people age 12-21.
