Cause Description:
Finding doctors for severe chronic pain patients, and then arranging to fly the patients to those doctors who provide adequate pain relief. Many doctors are fearful of the DEA, so doctors who "really" treat pain are hard to find. We think that 7000 Americans are forced to take their own lives each year for lack of pain medication. By finding doctors willing to give them pain medication, and flying them there through Mercy Medical Airlift and Angel Wings, we can save many lives and relieve a great deal of suffering.
