Since 1868, St. John's has been providing residential foster care to abused, neglected and dependent boys from New York City. They operate two Diagnostic Reception Centers, 3 Independent Living Units and two mainstream units. St. John's mission is to provide for the physical, emotional, spiritual, educational and social needs of children and families who come to them for assistance. St. John's is operated by the Marianist Brothers (Society of Mary).
