Cause Description:
Towing Operators Working to Eliminate Drunk Driving is a Not-For-Profit Organization, formed in 1986 by Towing Operators who felt the dire need to make an effort to remove intoxicated drivers from the roadways. After witnessing the carnage a drunk driver can inflict with his/her three ton weapon in a tenth of a second, the operators felt that it was time to make a difference. The T.O.W.E.D. Coalition is a nationwide society of Towing Operators, who donate their time, money and equipment, to provide a ride home and vehicle tow, free of charge and anonymously, to intoxicated drivers who access our services at [1-765-653-6933]. Law enforcement agencies are not notified. When our operators have an intoxicated driver in the cab of the tow truck, and their vehicle on the "hook", that driver's ability to do harm has been taken away.
