Cause Description:
A national campaign to replace the current tax code with the "FairTax" (a simple flat national sales tax with monthly poverty-level refunds), to repeal the Income Tax Amendment, and to eliminate the IRS. Under the FairTax, neither income nor investments will be taxed by the federal government. The tax, on purchases of new (not used) goods and services only, will be collected by businesses, who will turn the money over to the states.
