Cause Description:
Beginning in 1966 as a year round high school performing group, Hi-liners was reorganized into a non-profit corporation in the early 1990's. We are dedicated to bringing the Hi-Liner theatrical experience to a new generation of young artists. Each year since 1994 our Summer Stock program has brought together talented local kids in such shows as Hello Dolly, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music and more. We are the only organization in our community that produces an annual Broadway Musical. Each cast consists of 35 to 40 students ages 13 to 20 years of age, other students are involved in the backstage aspects of the production as well. In addition to our regular performances, we do two free performances per year for approx. 1600 local students. Thanks for your consideration.
