Being Alive South Bay is a self help non-profit group for People living with HIV/AIDS prodicing psyco-social activities and support groups, medical updates, hosprial visits, luncheons, Project Angel Food, transportation, houing referals, referals to HOPWA (Housing Opprotunities for PWA) and ADAP (AIDS Drug assistance program)as well as legal assistance and access to he internet as well a emergency assitance. The website is from our sister organization, Being Alive LA, who's newsletter is on the web. They have kindly allowed us to emulate them in our local area. We kindly give them credit for a wonderful newsletter and website. We plan to have our local website up in the fall. All Being Alives are modeled after LA who developed the concept. We folow their example locally providing appropriate services for the locl communites.
