Cause Description:
We are a small group of volunteers organized to help Sierra County fill the need for more animal services. 2017 marked the 5 year anniversary of Companion Animal Action Team – CAAT for short. All proceeds go to help the animals. Our Mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by providing assistance for spaying and neutering of cats and dogs. CAAT also provides humane education to reduce the abuse of companion animals. The goal is to reduce the euthanasia of healthy animals due to overpopulation. The organization also works to decrease the feral cat population through TNR, with the overall goal of making Sierra County a no kill community
