MentorPrize recruits mentors for nonprofit groups in the Greater Washington, D.C. region that serve thousands of disadvantaged individuals — from at-risk youth to teen parents. We alleviate a tremendous burden for our program partners by referring qualified mentors to them. Our recruitment efforts involve collaborating with corporations, organizations and other entities to promote mentoring to their constituents and the community. Once a potential mentor is identified, we work one-on-one to help that individual find a mentoring program that suits his or her interests, location preferences and time constraints.
