Contact-Care is a 24 Hour Crisis/Helpline that serves Contra Costa County and Alameda County. It offers free round-the-clock comprehensive Telephone Crisis/Helpline Services, Educational Programs for adults and teens, and a Community Food Depot. It has an adult line, a Teen-To-Teen Hotline, and a Kid-Phone Warmline. The Contact-Care Center is fully accredited by Contact USA, a national association of 63 Helpline Centers. It is affiliated with Life Line International, and a member in good standing of Local Independent Charities of America.
