Cause Description:
Army Lt. Lee Galloway, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established by friends and family in remembrance and honor of York High School’s fallen hero who was killed in combat near Da Nang, Vietnam in 1971. The Fund was established over thirty years ago to establish a perpetual memorial award to be awarded to a York High School graduate who most exemplifies Lee’s traits of patriotism, athleticism, journalism, love of reading, and sense of humor.
