Cause Description:
April & Joey’s Angels intends to operate a “no-kill” animal rescue and shelter program in Los Angeles, California. The organization will accept stray, homeless, abused, and abandoned animals rescued from both the streets and from government-operated and other “kill” facilities in southern California. The organization will provide shelter space, veterinary care and behavioral training with the goal of adopting these animals into appropriate homes, and will conduct education programs designed to educate the public concerning animal welfare and the need to provide relief and assistance to pets suffering from abandonment, neglect and abuse. All activities will be conducted by the organization’s volunteers.
