The Wilder Home Association After Laura’s death in 1957, her daughter Rose Wilder Lane and Mansfield resident and close friend Irene Lichty, formed the Wilder Home Association with the vision to preserve intact the Wilder home and its many treasures. At that time, the association got its start with the establishment of $100.00 memberships – the exact amount Laura and Almanzo saved to purchase the land we would affectionately come to know as Rocky Ridge Farm. Over the years, we have been blessed by our many supporters who share our same vision and values. Today, we seek not only to preserve Laura’s legacy but to continue her story by supporting the future of the historic Rocky Ridge Farm. It’s an exciting time to become a member and we encourage your consideration.
