Cause Description:
The Tarpon Springs High School Choral Boosters raise funds throughout the year to support our students who participate in the Choral Program. We have an award winning Concert Choir and three Show Choir Ensembles. Our program has been at Tarpon Springs High School for over 25 years under the direction of Charles Cheeseman. Two of our ensembles compete across the country in Show Choir Competitions, proudly representing the State of Florida as the only competitive Show Choir. During the 2015/2016 show choir season, our students competed in the Southeast Regional Show Choir Competition and in New York City at Lincoln Center for the FAME Show Choir Regional Championships. Our 2016/2017 season includes traveling to competitions in Alabama and Georgia on both regional and national levels, showcasing our ensembles many talents. All funds raised go to supporting our travel, wardrobes, sets and music. With over 100 students in our program, we also provide scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to participate due to financial restrictions. The Choral Boosters of the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization making your donation completely tax deductible.
