Cause Description:
Cougar Valley Farms is a nonprofit, charitable exotic animal sanctuary and rescue facility that rescues big cats, bears and other carnivores that are in abusive, neglectful or otherwise dangerous situations and provide them with a lifelong home. We provide a second chance to these beautiful animals and allow them to live out their lives in the manner that they deserve. The small handful of volenteers that run this facility care for the 35 lions, tigers, cougars and other carnivores that call this home. We provide 24 hour emergency services to local, state and federal animal officials when needed, as well as to other facilities when involved in any crises situation involving any large carnivore. The animals in our care depend on donations to cover the 300 lbs of meat they eat every day, as well as their medical care and other needs. They need your help.
