Cause Description:
Our mission at Lean on Me Service Dogs is to be able to provide a service dog to assist people with mobility and balance impairments, thereby improving their quality of life. Lean On Me Service Dogs wil be breeding, raising, training and placing specially trained dogs to assist people to have greater independence in their lives. Placement will be at no charge with priority given to veterans and their families. Our first three pups will be arriving the first week of February and we will be in need of food, training aids, bedding and veterinary expenses. The average cost of raising a service dogs is between $12,000 and $20,000. We will be depending on a lot of small contributions to help get this started. If we can help make three lives better this year we will be a success. We hope to grow to be able to place many more in the near future. Thank you for any support you can help with!
