Cause Description:
Our main mission is to provide assistance and opportunities to middle school and high school students that are blind or visually impaired. Being a visually impaired student and having friendships with many people that are visually impaired and blind, I know the struggle of continuing your education. In 2014 and 2015, the Foundation donated ($2,000 and $1,000 respectively) to the Maryland School (MSB) for the Blind to help student in the Summer Bridge Program. This program encourages students to participate in athletes and healthy eating habits. Also, the Foundation donated $1,000 each year (2014 and 2015) to the United States Association of Blind Athletes for scholarship opportunities. Finally, in 2015 the Foundation added their support efforts with the Tennessee School for the Blind and the Foundation Fighting Blindness annual Vision Walk that took place in Baltimore, Maryland. We are looking forward to our continued support of these organizations next year.
