We are a 501(c)3 Rescue helping animals in need and educating the public on responsible pet ownership, focusing on east central Indiana. The Mission of Midwest Pet Refuge is to ensure that animals in our area are given the opportunity to have access to a safe and nurturing environment. This mission is achieved through the use of rescues, foster homes, and supportive services to pet owners. These services include educational opportunities to increase pet owner's understanding of the importance of spay/neutering, pet needs and behaviors, as well as efforts to link pet owners to needed resources. We strive to ensure that all pets have the chance to live in loving homes. This is accomplished through carefully connecting pets with appropriate forever homes.
