While our immediate goal is to raise funds to create an off-leash dog park in The Village Of Westchester IL, we hope, in addition, to make this park more than just a field of fenced grass and trees ,but to establish an off-leash dog park where dogs and their (owners/friends) have a safe, well-maintained area for recreation, exercise and socialization. Norfolk Dog Park will not only provide off-leash playtime for dogs and their owners, but will also be a place to encourage responsible pet ownership. The Norfolk Dog Park is viewed as a canine complement to the town’s existing public Parks and Recreation department.
