The purpose of Saving Saint Louis Pets is: 1. To network available resources to create and maintain a regional pet community consisting of individuals, rescues, local law enforcement, animal welfare groups etc. 2. To fundraise to provide emergency medical funding to pets in need within a 150 mile radius of Saint Louis City. 3. To network and raise awareness for animals in danger of being euthanized at area shelters/pounds. 4. To educate and promote the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals. 5. To educate the public on how to help prevent animal cruelty.
