Cause Description:
Our organization provides much needed health services to cancer patients and their families. These services assist with managing a cancer diagnosis, coping with symptoms of cancer and the side-effects of cancer treatment, and promoting healing; mentally, physically and emotionally significantly improving quality of life before, during and after treatment. We provide free psychological counseling, support groups, yoga and meditation groups, and educational classes on regaining health and preventing recurrence. We have sliding fee scales for our other services which include: nutritional counseling, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, therapeutic massage, and lymphatic treatment. These services integrate with the standard medical treatments of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Our services are available to all cancer patients, regardless of referring physician, type of cancer or ability to pay.
