Hope Therapy's mission is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs using equine assisted activities and therapy (EAAT). This form of therapy is called hippotherapy. We aim to improve the physical, mental, psychological, social, behavioral, and sensor motor capabilities of all patients and increase their ability to function in their activities of daily living. We strive to provide an enjoyable, meaningful, and purposeful experience for our patients in a safe and professional equestrian environment with the help of our professional therapists, riding instructor, volunteers, and therapy horses. Research studies have shown the beneficial effects of equine assisted therapy. This program is not only beneficial to the patients, but the benefits extend to their families and the community as well.
