Cause Description:
The Friends of Golden History Museums, a 501(c) 3 corporation, support the City of Golden museums; the Golden History Center, the Astor House Museum, and the Clear Creek History Park, by providing an annual gift which will support programs, capital improvements and collections of these museums. Additionally, the Friends will provide a channel for grant-making and receiving for the Museums for grants the Museums are unable to apply for as the City of Golden. The Friends provide event support for the Museums in ways that the City of Golden is unable to function. The Friends may make additional gifts based on specific requests from the Museums.
