Cause Description:
The Chimp Farm is a non profit animal sanctuary. It began almost 50 years ago, taking in abused, neglected, unwanted primates and other animals. Some of the animals came from research labs, circuses, zoos and pets that were no longer able to handle. Presently the sanctuary cares for almost 60 primates, and is currently raising money to rebuild the entire facility to meet the year 2000 standards for the state. This will ensure the animals will be able to live in peace in this special retirement home.
