Conquer Myasthenia Gravis (formerly the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of Illinois) serves thousands of MG patients in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and beyond. We work to improve the lives of those who suffer with myasthenia gravis, and fund research to find a cure. We provide education, emotional support, financial aid, advocacy, and awareness programs. MG is a rare autoimmune disease causing fluctuating muscle weakness. It affects about 2 in 10,000 – of any age or ethnicity. It is a potential killer, but with early diagnosis & proper medical treatment, MG can often be controlled. There is no known cure, but there is help.
