Building Strong Women Inc. B.S.W. was created with a primary purpose of assisting recovering women / homeless women within the Flint Michigan & surrounding areas to become independent, stronger, and wiser with encouragement from each others as well Social Media and General Information From Charlotte Lancaster McCann (CEO / Founder of Building Strong Women) Building Strong Woman is a nonprofit organization with a 501 (c) (3) supported documentation. Our mission is to help the women in the Flint Michigan community with their recovery of substance addiction and homelessness. BSW currently has 5 transitional sober houses, which has reached its full capacity.Due to the mounting number of recovering substance abuse women, Domestic Violence, with their depending children rising epidemic of homelessness in the Genesee County and surrounding area; we at BSW has devoted our time in giving a helping hand to those who needs us. Since 2009 BSW has successfully helped over 100 ladies and their dependent children. Of course some of the ladies have moved on to a prosperous life opening the vacancy for another occupant
