Cause Description:
Yoga Life Society came into being in response to requests from students of Sri Guruji Reverend Jaganath Carrera, who were looking for a way to deepen their understanding and experience of Yoga. They came together to study and practice, to share and support each other, and to serve others through the teachings of Yoga. Sri Guruji's teachings are founded on the Integral Yoga teachings of his master, His Holiness Sri Swami Satchidananda, the revered founder of Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville and the Integral Yoga Institutes worldwide. The Goals of Yoga Life Society include: To lead a life of harmony, service, peace, and joy through the study and practice of the six major branches of Yoga: Hatha, Karma, Bhakti, Jnana, Japa, and Raja. To create an environment - within and without - in which spiritual ignorance evaporates leading to the experience of Self-realization. Bringing loving-kindness and compassion to all. Realizing that there is one universal Truth or Reality, and that all faith traditions are valid and complete ways to know that Truth.
