The Wichita Animal Action League, or WAAL, was created to connect like minded animal lovers in and around Wichita. We are here to help abused and neglected animals in the Wichita area - those animals who fall between the cracks when animal control can't help and have no other advocates. We do emergency rescues, help coordinate foster homes in emergency situations, do trap/neuter/release of feral cat colonies, coordinate transport chains to rescues around Kansas, etc. WAAL is committed to changing animal laws in Wichita to empower animal control to better serve the animals it is charged with protecting.
