Mission Statement Feathered Love Parrot Rescue’s objective is to help educate parrot/bird lovers about the needs, diet, and care of their feathered friends. We help to re-home parrots/birds when their humans can no longer care for them. We will take in and place parrots/birds in foster homes or the rescue until the right homes are found. F.L.P.R. is a not for profit organization. All money donations are applied to vet bills, cages, toys, food, parrot care classes and needs of the parrots/birds in F.L.P.R. care. The adoption fees for parrots/birds help to cover the above expenses as well. All parrots/birds are seen by a veterinarian familiar with treating birds before placing them in their new homes and foster homes. We do not buy or breed parrots/birds ever.
