Cause Description:
The Grace Church Ministry to the Homeless visits the homeless on the streets of D.C. every other Saturday. They take food, drink, toiletries, and clothes to men who do not go to the shelters, but live full time on the street. They also spend time talking to the men and getting to know a little about them and their lives. They are one of the few groups in the area who provide these services year around. Many groups only operate in the winter, but the needs of the homeless continue—and in some ways increase—in the summer.
