Helping Animals To Survive (HATS) is a North Carolina 501(c)3, non-profit dedicated to helping Lincoln County become a No Kill community by reducing the intake of homeless animals and increasing the outtake of healthy and treatable animals at Lincoln County Animals Services (LCAS) through various programs, efforts, and education. Our efforts and programs include: Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) and barn cat programs for feral cats Facilitating the rescue, foster and/or transporting of animals out of Lincoln County Animal Services with hundreds of rescue and animal welfare groups Promoting the animals available for adoption, rescue and foster on social media platforms and via other marketing outlets Low-cost spay/neuter programs Pet retention efforts Fundraising efforts including donations, sponsorship, and grant writing Educating the public on responsible pet ownership via public events and community outreach efforts Please help us become a No Kill community by shopping via iGive.
