Long Way Home is a 501(c) non-profit organization that maintains a caring, nurturing home-life for pets deemed "unadoptable" or that have been diagnosed with a chronic or terminal disease. We are a limited-intake rescue located in the Bryan/College Station, TX community. We pull pets not fitting traditional adoption criteria or who have an imminent kill date from shelters and place them into carefully screened, loving homes or offer them a permanent placement at our sanctuary. Either way, we make a lifetime commitment to each animal. We rescue dog, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. We also work specifically with Pit Bull type dogs.
