Cause Description:
This organization rescues labradors and places them in loving homes. We help labs that have been surrendered by their owners (usually due to no fault of their own) as well as labs in shelters. We also provide information (some through links) to lab owners and potential lab owners so that they have knowledge of the breed and proper care. We support spay/neuter and all dogs who are not altered at the time of placement are required to be within 10 days. We encourage owners to use training and obedience courses rather than surrender the lab. We require applications for both adoptions and surrenders so that we can make the best match possible for the lab and the family. We are a non-profit charity organization run entirely by a small group of unpaid volunteers. We are in need of volunteers, foster homes, and donations.
