Cause Description:
Kelley's Cause was designed to support Kelley in her to recover from a severe accident in 2006 that left her paralyzed (spinal cord injury) from the neck down. This cause will raise funds for un-insured physical/ occupational therapy and medical equipment for her. Kelley has received intensive rehab for the past six years and continually strives to regain sensation and function throughout her body. With her strength and determination she has been making progress in many ways from being able to breath on her own, to using her arms, pushing her wheelchair, and standing with assistance. Currently, she just graduated with a degree in Architecture, specializing in accessibility. She hopes to design functional and beautiful spaces that people of all abilities can thrive in.
